2.Descriptionof HDCA500 High-Precision Digitally Controlled Gain Amplifier:

HDCA500 digitally controlled variable gain amplifier is a type of variable gain amplifier with 6-bit TTL level control. The gain step of each stage is 3 time, though there are only 6-bit control code, it makes the gain control range reach 104dB, so the computer can control a very wide gain range only using very few control bits. The max. gain of the amplifier is 500 times, inside it there is control circuit which prevents input saturation of the circuit, which can make the input signal reach as high as 30V(RMS). The module adopts thin-film hybrid integrated circuit process, therefore, the gain accuracy can be very high, inside the module 4-stage amplification circuit is adopted, but it still makes the gain accuracy controlled within 1% (typical value). Likewise, because of adoption of thin film technology and design of unique shunt and voltage division circuit inside it, this makes the noise coefficient of the module very low and makes the processing capacity of weak signals greatly improved. The module can be applied in the preamplifier of the system and AGC control system. The gain and bandwidth can be adjusted and customized according to user’s requirements.
